Holding Cell to play Shining Light Film Fest

We are thrilled to announce that the Holding Cell will be featured in this year’s Shining Light Film Festival, held in Indianapolis to showcase films focusing on the realities of mental health challenges and recovery.  The Holding Cell will be screened on Friday, April 25 at 6:00pm at the beautiful downtown branch of the Indianapolis Public Library, and tickets are available now.

The Shining Light Film Festival, presented by Awareness of Mental Health for the Performing Arts (amhpa.org), was founded out of the desire to honor and uplift amazing films that fit its mission to bring awareness to the public and to lift the veil on the realities of mental illness.  Mental illness will affect one in four of us in our lifetime, so it’s important to be aware of the realities and especially the hopefulness of recovery.

Director KT Curran and executive producer Lisa Brandy (of Brandi’s Wish Foundation) will present the film in Indianapolis and will take part in a panel discussion afterward.
